A little bit of paradise. We had such a lovely stay at the Jardin del Eden. It was a very last minute booking because the weather had shifted and our hotel was near Ocotal. We weren’t disappointed. The staff, room and property are fantastic. Spotless comfortable rooms, quite and serene surroundings. Lots of trees – hummingbirds in the garden and two pools near the restaurant. There is also easy beach access (the hotel isn’t right on the beach) to Tamarindo. Just a short walk and you’re at a lovely stretch of sand and surf. The staff was extremely accommodating and kind. Just one thing – if you come at night it’s a bit hard to find the parking lot, but the place is so worth staying at compared to other properties in downtown Tamarindo.

Our stay at Jardin del Eden was absolutely wonderful. From start to finish I can’t say anything bad. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. The view from our room #29 was breathtaking. Every staff person was so helpful. Breakfast with Endy and Natalia was always a treat and you were always greeted with a smile. The walk to the beach took about 5 minutes, but the hotel made it a pleasant walk. The private grassy area by the beach made my husband very happy as he is not a beach person. He could relax on the chaise under the umbrella as I walked the beautiful beach and watched the sunsets. If you have a mobility problem ask for a room by the garden area, much less walking. The only thing bad I can say is our stay was not long enough.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights around Easter weekend in April. This hotel is like a little tropical sanctuary with little nooks and crannies everywhere. So special and so intimate. We loved our room so much and felt our patio was very private. A nice place to enjoy my morning coffee and listen to the birds. We used the pool area daily and also used the beach area. Both were phenomenal! The breakfast is delicious and we also loved eating lunch here on a few days. Hands down the best nachos and chicken caesar salad we’ve ever had!! I had the salad two days in a row. Such a light and refreshing lunch around the pool! Drinks were also great and reasonably priced. The white wine was crisp and refreshing and the sangria was as well. A nice light walk to the action on the street. Don’t be afraid to book this place because it’s not on the beach. It’s really so close and so much closer than what we saw on google maps. We had dinner out every night. So many restaurants to choose from in Tamarindo and great places to go out for drinks. Howler monkeys in the trees along the walkway to the street. So amazing to see them so close. Cute! We initially had booked the Diria and changed our reservation to this hotel as it seemed more intimate and quaint. SO happy we made this decision and we have no regrets. Would return to this place in a heartbeat!!

This boutique hotel offers a very peaceful, tranquil and friendly stay very close to the Pacific with excellent access to beautiful beaches. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful and unobtrusively always available for advice and/or guidance.

Our room was spacious enough, very well maintained and clean, and it also had the additional perk of an exceptional view of the ocean. The grounds of this hotel are very well maintained and beautiful amply earning and justifying the name of Jardin del Eden. Beds were comfortable and provided excellent sleep quality, inclusive of body-long pillows.

Excellent, gourmet food for dinner time, and breakfast selections are very good, tasty and always very fresh.

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous grounds, easy access to the beach, friendly and attentive staff, impressive morning brunch, immaculate rooms…what’s not love about this 4 star hotel? Tamarindo beach is a bustling enclave with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Very quiet in the hotel although monkeys drop by on occasion!
